The HBO TV series hit True Blood is a mystic and unique TV show about a waitress that falls in love with a mystical vampire. The show is based in a town called Bon Temps, in a Sookie Steakhouse. Because of a Japanese scientist invention of synthetic blood, the vampires can live in a town without having to drink human blood. From the seasons that have shown on TV the show has a variety of different types of characters. You have the romantics, the cursed ones, the mysteries ones and the bad bloods. True Blood isn’t like any of the other vampire TV shows that have been aired before. It has its own unique style that catches the viewers’ attention. With the way the shows is going it’s a show that will go on a long run just like some of the other vampire shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
The way I would design the official fan site would to have a chatroom for all the fans to have a way to gossip about each new episode. A blog board our bulletin board so fans can post what they think or start fan fiction stories with each other. Be sure to create a gallery with plenty of photos of the cast, the show and events. Create some quizzes for the fans to take to see which character they are most like or how well they know the show. Have a section on the site with the information for the next week’s shows, schedule live chats with all the fans so they can discuss the show. Create a contact form for the fans to send suggestion to eh web designer and the people who run the official fan club. Had some flash or animation to catch the fans or viewers’ attention. If you can design a site that grabs anyone attention then you have successfully created a fan site.
